Salmon fishing is great in September (nearby Campbell River is known as the “Salmon Fishing Capital of the World”) and the Heriot Bay 
Inn is pleased to arrange fishing charter vacations that include accommodations and salmon fishing. Whale watching continues through the end of October and grizzly bear adventure tours (to the west coast fjordlands off British Columbia) and wildlife viewing eco tours run until the end of November.
